Vocational teachers` professional development in assessment for learning

چکیده

Formative assessment, including vocational education and training (VET), has been included in the assessment regulations Norway since 2006. This study examines how a continuing course entitled Assessment for learning (15 credits) might contribute to teachers’ professional development related learning. Qualitative data was collected two stages from teachers participating on course. The findings reveal that perceptions of formative practice are developed through lens general programmes dominated by academic subjects upper secondary schools.
